Skateboarding
A skateboard is a solid flank of wood that little boys stuck wheels onto the bottom of it. It sticks to dry, hot concrete, and grinds audible lines of gravitational pull. When a skateboard rolls past, it pulls the witness’s eyes and ears with it. The original skateboard is from California, where palm trees grow, and line the beaches and roads. So many cars, and so many skateboards.
